Know Your Rights
Dealing with the stress of a collision is hard enough without trying to figure out how your accident insurance works. Here are some answers to frequently-asked questions about insurance policies.
Will the insurance company guarantee your work?
We guarantee our own work, but the insurance company does not have the legal right to guarantee a third party's work.
Who pays for repairs?
It depends on the circumstances. If you were at fault, but have comprehensive or collision insurance, the insurance company would pay the costs minus your deductible. If the other party was at fault, their insurance company should pay.
Do I have to accept the insurance company's appraisal of damage?
No. Check the "Appraisal Clause" in your policy if you have differences with their appraisal. It allows you and the insurance company to gather an opinion from an appraiser you both agree upon, or a third-party "Umpire" if you cannot agree.
Do I have the right to a rental car?
If you have purchased rental car coverage and were not responsible for the accident, you may seek reimbursement from the insurance company or, if another driver was responsible for the accident, their insurance company.
If you do not have rental car coverage and were responsible for the accident, you have no grounds to ask for reimbursement. If the other driver was liable, you can generally seek reimbursement from their insurance company.

I drive from Tonawanda anytime I need a repair. Prices are more than fair and the service is always A++. Highly recommend.
First time ever writing a review. I do basic auto repairs on my own cars. My 07 impala was giving what myself and my normal mecanic thought was a transmission issue. I went online serching a transmission shop. I picked Redline because it's almost across the street from GM Lockport, where I work as a Tool and Die Maker. I described to the man for Redline what was happening with the car. He spoke to me about the possible solutions to my problem. He said he would have his tech check it out and get back with me. Turned out I had a crack plastic fitting at the intake to the throttle body causing a vacume leak. They epoxyed the fitting. Fixing both problems with my car. If I had picked the wrong shop, I could have been paying for a transmission repair. We all know that would have been lots of $$$$. The most amazing part of the story is there was no charge for the repair! Thats why I took the time to share this experince with you. I'm not sure their is many shops with this kind of integrity out there. They certainly have my future business and the shop getting lunch on me! Joe from GM
We've been going to these boys for 18 years now and we live 40 minutes away. Wouldn't go anywhere else, they are the best!!! Extremely knowledgeable more than fair and just down right nice boys, very friendly A+++++++++++++++
Went to this shop on a recommendation of a co-worker. I'm newer to the Lockport area and was looking for a RELIABLE and INEXPENSIVE shop. Now I don't go to shops all that much due to the fact my dad makes most of my repairs. But for the ones he can't, I take to a shop. This shop is the most reasonable shop I've ever been to! Not to mention they know their stuff! When I'm discussing work to be done they describe what, how and why they have to do something. Then when it comes time to pay, I'm shocked at how inexpensive and reasonable their prices are! Will be going to this shop the rest of my life!
I have been going to Redline for over six years and they have always taken care of me. I have since moved an hour away and still commute to their location every time I need something done with my car. They are the best!
Great bunch of guys.. great service..knowledgeable... I fully trust the guys at Redline... best shop around...
